This compilation is the first release from IC Recordings. It takes its title from a frequently deleted verse of Woody Guthrie’s working class great ‘This Land Is Your Land’ and, while not always overtly political, was inspired by the results of the Presidential election of 2004.
Participants were asked to contribute with the mottos ‘be positive’ and ‘do good things’ as the only guiding principles. A number of musical styles are featured, offering something for everyone. The entire album, from conception to manufacturing, took only four months to complete.
